Languages Are Priceless
although they can pay you well...!
In this article we are going to talk about why learning a foreign language can have a huge impact in your life.
The Benefits Of Learning A Foreign Language
1. You clearly evolve your brain.
As you probably already know, learning a new skill requires passion, time, knowledge and facing failure after failure. During the process, you learn new ways of thinking. There's no difference learning a new language.
2. You learn more about your language!
As weird as this sounds, languages have many similarities. Even the very different languages can have some similar things like spelling. What's the good of all this? You learn more about your language, you learn the origin of some words and you learn in-depth where certain phrases come from.
3. You get a taste of where you really belong in the world.
This can actually have two meanings:
The first one is that once you see how bigger the world is, you can understand the influence of your native language has in the planet.
The second one is that while learning a foreign language, you can understand if you like the culture and the traditions of the corresponding country.
4. Culture and traditions
As self-evident as it sounds, learning one or more languages can really open to you a whole new world with more adventures, more things to discover, more places to explore!
5. You have more choices and opportunities to find or create a job!
So except of all these advantages, speaking more than two languages opens your horizons (both professionally and socially). Being a polyglot can definitely assure bigger incomes.
Where Should I Start?
There's not a staring point language although there are some languages that are spoken by bigger amounts of people. Some of them are English, Russian, Arabic, Spanish and French. In my opinion, the best time to learn a new language is when you have reached a top level of comprehension of your native language. After this, learning one of the above languages can really guarantee you a better life, a better future.
