Laughter is an ability given only to humans. Nevertheless, we sometimes forget to laugh. How many things do we lose when we do not enjoy the moment? And how bad can misery be for our mood?

To begin with, feelings are feelings. There are both positive and negative. It is impossible to not experience them (if nothing has changed in the world). The best thing we can do is enjoy our nice moments and just grow patience during our worst.

What consequences can sadness bring out

Okay, I'm neither a psychologist (nor I would like too) but there are some phases we all have experienced once we were emotionally down.

  • Doubts 
Doubting yourself, your abilities and your existence can be beneficial sometimes. Just make sure you do not stop trying new things you like because your potential is way bigger than everyone thinks. 


  • Lost faith
There are people that lose their faith when they are challenged by difficult situations. Don't be like them, trust the proccess and the timing. Every bad moment will someday be just a memory and you will be happier if you already knew it and prayed for better days.



  • Laziness
Another symptom that differs from person to person. While to the majority of people sadness may signifies lower energy level, there are people that will take advantage of this emotion and draw inspiration.



I am pointing these not to make you afraid of feeling sad, but to make you willing of being happy!

What are the benefits of laughing out loud

  • You shorten your problems
When we make jokes of a tough problem in our lives, we really find more solutions and we give less attention to the bad. Just make sure you are avoiding laughing and talking about other people's difficulties. You may become offensive or even hurt their feelings :/


  • You are more likely to influence positively your friends
When you laugh you become a source of energy, and guess what? People will need you to fill in theirs. It also makes you look more attractive...


  • You are the best version of yourself
Not only you kick out negativity but you also attract real blessings and joyful events. Laughing is another way to express gratitude.



Summarizing, laughter is the best medicine for your mood, however, it is not something we can impose to ourselves, so just be you...

Things to do when you don't feel like laughing

  1. Just do not laugh
Didn't expect this ughhhhh? Well, why should we be happy and chill all the time? The reality is that we wouldn't appreciate our wins if we always won. See? Everything for a reason. Is being blissful all the time even possible? Anyone have done this? 
 


     2. Laugh
I am sure you were expecting this option. We all know sometimes it is not even possible to smile so do not take this technique literally, every single situation is different and no one is as aware as you are.



     3. Watch cat videos or read memes.
I know what you 're thinking, I just told you that laughing is not a procedure we can impose ourselves to do. But don't you think that a little push would help?
