Hello world!!!
This article will be a lot different than the others. Maybe like a page in a personal diary. Although I think that you will get something useful for you, my personal relationship with journaling may help you find yours! 😁
Journaling
I started journaling when I was almost 12 years old. The ''phenomenon'' of adolescence really impacted me...! 😂 I started just by writing some stitches about general issues that rhymed. Then, I was writing them in a notebook. Reading them today really made me feel like a made a serious progress. 😅 BUT! In my opinions, this is when my journey as a writer started..!
After 2 years...
I wanted to make something more than keeping my words for myself (reading them out loud to my family wasn't enough for me 💬). I decided to share my secret talent so I opened an instagram and a twitter account to post them. This is something that most of my friends don't know but I decided to tell it in this article today where everyone can read it... Anyway, I got disappointed because I didn't find the engagement I expected. Some of my quotes were really appreciated by people in the field but that's all!
Last Year
I read from an article that writing your thoughts down can really have an impact in your life. In addition, many significant people have taken many many notes and admit that it helped them to become successful. This is what I also decided to do, the same night, I took a pencil and the notebook were I keep my unreleased songs and I wrote 3 pages. Okay, to be honest, I didn't find it neither fun nor interesting. I just pushed myself to write about a thing that has been in my mind. I thought writing it down to a paper would help me, but the reality is that it didn't solve anything 'till today. Nevermind, the next days I continued writing about my life, my ambitions and some of my ideas. That's it, I kept doing this activity after weeks, months, in my school, in my home etc.
Journaling has really helped me with many things, it's a way of expressing and being artistic at the same time. It has helped me come up with many great ideas and has helped me develop as a writer.
Goals
One thing I learned from journaling is setting my goals and actually achieving them. Now I know why successful people are writing maniacs..!
Wait a minute, I forgot what I was going to say next. NOT AGAIN!!!! 😡 By the way, this a difficulty I have to face every time I am journaling, concepts come and go in my head very fast (plus I struggle with writing them quickly) and it gets on my nerves. I know, not the best way to end a mologue.
